Amend the Bible?

“Amend the Bible,” says Piers Morgan

During an interview with Pastor Rick Warren, Piers Morgan proposed that we “amend the Bible.” Morgan believes the Bible should be amended because it’s out-of-date on the issues such as gay rights. Here is the exchange:
Morgan didn’t spell out the process by which the Bible should be amended. Perhaps he wasn’t using the word “amend” literally. We can always hope not, anyway.

The Bible isn’t like the U.S. Constitution. It does not have the force of govenrment law behind it. If one ignores a particular prohibition or teaching — because it is “out-of-date” or, what is often the same thing, because one would rather not follow it — no government penalty attaches and no government enforcement mechanism comes into play (unless the law contains the same prohibition). But, of course, one assumes all other risks.

Towards the end of the exchange, Warren and Morgan agree that it’s good to have the kind of discussion they just had. Morgan adds that the discussion should always be respectful. Why? Because “the moment it becomes disrespectful and discourteous and then rude and then poisonous, you never achieve anything.”

But, as Peter Wehner notes, this is the same Piers Morgan who, during an interview, called Larry Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America, “an unbelievably stupid man” who “shame[s] your country” and “doesn’t give a damn about the gun murder rate in America.”

This guy makes Larry King look like a sage.
Piers Morgan Says Flawed Bible Must be Amended
Already being attacked for his stance on guns (so much so that 75,000 people have signed a White House petition to have him deported), has truly thrown caution to the wind by proclaiming that the Bible is flawed and must be amended.
And not only the Bible. The British star of CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” said on Monday that “Both the Bible and the Constitution were well intentioned but they are basically, inherently flawed. Hence, the need to amend it,”

He was addressing anti-gay bigot Rick Warren, and Warren was having none of it:

“There is still an element of the bible that is flawed,” Morgan told Warren on his program, Piers Morgan Tonight.

“I do not believe the bible is flawed,” Warren replied.

“My point to you about gay rights, for example, it’s time for an amendment to the Bible.”

“Uh, no,” Warren told Morgan. “Not a chance. What I believe is flawed is human opinion, because it constantly changes.”
“You should compile a new bible,” Morgan said with a laugh.
“I willingly admit that I base my worldview on the bible, which I believe is true,” Warren maintained. “Opinion changes, but truth doesn’t.”

“We’re going to have to disagree on that,” Morgan told him.
What the Bible said about Amending, adding to or taking away from the Bible (Maxim of Law)!
Deu 4:2  Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Deu 12:32  What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
Pro 30:5  Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Pro 30:6  Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
Rev 22:16  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Rev 22:17  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Rev 22:18  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Therefore: According to the Bible (Maxim of Law), anyone that adds to or takes away from the Bible and the (Maxim of Law) to attempt to amend it will suffer the curses and plagues written in the Bible.
On top of that, their chance of salvation and chance of their Name being removed or blocked from being entered in the Lambs Book of Life. When that happens they will automatically be cast into the Lake of Fire.
Piers Morgan who, during an interview, called Larry Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America, “an unbelievably stupid man” who “shame[s] your country”
Really the truth is that Piers Morgan and those others that want to amend or add to or change the Bible (Maxim of Law) are the people who are truly Unbelievably Stupid.
In doing so they are in violation of scripture Located at  Mat 12:30  He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
Mat 12:31  Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
Mat 12:32  And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Mat 12:33  Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
Mat 12:34  O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Mar 3:28  Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
Mar 3:29  But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
Luk 12:8  Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
Luk 12:9  But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
Luk 12:10  And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
Rev 2:9  I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
They say they are Christians and Hebrew nations, but they are not, they are of the synagogue of Satan.
2Ti 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Pe 1:19  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
2Pe 1:20  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pe 1:21  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Therefore adding to, changing or amending the Bible (Maxim of Law) is the sin of Blasphemy for the fact that the Bible was written
not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Therefore that sin is also Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost and what was said about Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost?
Whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
He that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
Unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
Therefore those people attempting to Amend the Bible (Maxim of Law) Is already guilty of Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost!!!!!!!
