For me, this is what the movement to regain Texas as an independent nation is all about. The oppression of the Federal and State governments has become so severe that no one who is honest with himself can ignore it or say it doesn't exist.
People were made to be free to use their faculties in Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. When oppression comes to the point that the individuals created by God have their behavior so regulated that they can do almost nothing without government approval or permission in the form of licensing, registration, statute, regulation and so on, it is time for these people to stand up and say ENOUGH!
I believe it is the responsibility of all who are able to see the truth, and all who love Freedom and Justice, to stand together and make known the tremendous injustice and oppression that is upon us so that the People can exercise their inherent authority to alter our government, stop the oppression and regain our Freedom.
EPA - The Environmental Protection Agency has abused any power it may have been given by causing the owners of property not to be able to use their property as they see fit and they do so without just compensation. A clear violation of the constitution and oppression of the rights of the people.
Then there's the FBI, BATF, OSHA, Department of Human Resources, the Federal Judiciary... the list goes on almost forever. These are all Administrative Agencies, run by bureaucrats not elected by the people but sanctioned by the UNITED STATES and STATE OF TEXAS governments. Agencies that make their own rules and regulations to compel performance from the People.
We are being ruled by PRIVATE LAW that is copyrighted and has never been passed into positive Public Law. The reason that these rules and regulations that are being imposed on us are not passed into Public Law, and therefore do not apply to anyone who rejects 14th Amendment citizenship, is that the government does not have the delegated authority to apply private law to the People.
The People are sovereign over the government. If you don't believe it, read the Declarations of Independence for the United States of America and the Republic of Texas. Only the People collectively can bring themselves out from under the oppression and tyranny by standing together to excercise the principle that is the foundation of ANY free society:
